I have been on a painting streak. I like painting. I found this cart a few months ago at a thrift store (probably Goodwill). It was a dark wood and was missing it's horizontal surfaces.
The first update started with adding a top to the cart and painting it an obnoxious blue. YUCK!
The second update started with a few coats of primer and then a soft periwinkle blue paint.
A glass tile trim was added around the edge and then I topped the cart off with pieces of reclaimed wood. YUMMY!
I have this lovely piece listed on my local craigslist. I would like to list it in my etsy shop, but I can't get my head around shipping large pieces.
My next project is a wooden bed. Headboard, footboard and rails. I will post before and after photos of the bed when it is finished. I also have some other update photos of finished projects to post soon!
